Dr. Chien-wen Shen
Associate Prof., Dept. of Business Administration at National Central University

is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at National Central University (NCU). He also serves as the Director of Yunus Social Business Center at NCU. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in industrial engineering and management sciences from Northwestern University. His research interests include service science, business analytics, information management, supply chain management, decision science, and social business. Dr. Shen has published over 60 papers and presented numerous invited, plenary, or named lectures. He has also been participated with more than 30 research projects supported by Ministry of Science and Technology, National Science Council, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Ministry of Education, Chung- Shan Institute of Science and Technology (under National Defense’s Armaments Bureau), and National Science Foundation (USA). Currently, Dr. Shen is a topic editor-in-chief of the “Advanced in Information Sciences and Service Sciences” Journal, as well as an editorial board member of the “Operations and Supply Chain Management: An International Journal.” He was also the guest editors of “Mobile Information Systems” and “International Journal on Semantic Web and Information Systems.” Moreover, he serves as a committee member on Intermodal Freight Terminal Design and Operations of the Transportation Research Board. In addition to research activities, he actively mentors students interested in social innovation and entrepreneurship. He led more than 15 social business/NPO projects during the past 2 years. He also established the “Yunus Prize: Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition” in Taiwan. This Prize is to honor Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prof. Yunus’s contributions to social business and to promote social entrepreneurship to youth.

Dr. Faiz Shah
Senior Program Specialist (Head of DM), Development Management, AIT, Thailand

Dr. Faiz Shah currently heads Development Management at the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, and is the director of Yunus Center AIT. He teaches on the CSR masters program at the AIT School of Management, coordinates the AITE Healthcare Resources Group, co-directs the Energy Distribution Services Management & Technology program, and is a visiting professor at the College of Innovation at Thammasat University, Bangkok.

Ms. Ryoko Inoue
Researcher Coordinator, Kyushu University
Yunus & Shiiki Social Business Research Center(SBRC)

Juris Doctor degree at Kyushu University Law School, International Public Law graduate. Worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the International Cooperation Bureau, for the law farm as legal assistant and for the International Development Journal as editor assistant before joining Yunus & Shiiki Social Business Research Center team. Since 2011, she has been engaged in the projects of SBRC with Grameen Family, Academia and other organization for promoting ‘Social Business’ in Japan. Having experiences in planning and organizing of workshops, Youth Contest and study program. Also coordinating for the creation of new social business joint ventures and the partnerships with key players in Japan.
